In commemoration of its 30th anniversary Warwick presented a Special Edition model made of FSC certified wood.
Swamp Ash, Wenge and Tigerstripe Ebony were used for this bass – which come from sustainable and controlled
forestry, processed within FSC standards.
Warwick’s Open Day Special Edition bass has a body made of Swamp Ash, and a 3/8”thick Wenge top. The neck and matching headstock are made from Wenge, with a fretboard of Tigerstripe Ebony.
The bass is available in 4 or 5 string, fretted or fretless. The fretted version has mother of pearl block inlays in its Tigerstripe Ebony fretboard.
The Warwick Open Day Special Edition is equipped with passive MEC humbucker pickups and active MEC 2-way electronics. It also features the Just-a-Nut III brass saddle and the Warwick 2-piece 3D bridge. The look of the bass is topped off with a Natural Oil finish and Satin Chrome hardware.
