«  A nice surprise! »

Fabirquée Indonesia
there was a very nice 7-string Cort home.
Handle a wider 6cordes (normal) but very pleasant, quite fine and flat.
22 frets, it's enough for me.
Micro level it has 2 EMG passive volume by microwave, and a general tone selector 3 positions.
Superb finish, no complaints except the pentacles as an inlay I'm really not a fan.
8 just for this last point, we would have won without inlay in sobriety.

UTILIZATION

As I said above the neck is very nice, you get used to the rope easily as well.
Access to treble is good, but I'm not often anyway.
Level ergonomics is all good too, neither too heavy nor too light, it was not the impression of having a toy in his hands.
We easily obtain a good sound? Yes!

SOUNDS

To play metal, it obviously does.
I had some prior on the EMG passive but now I think they are very good.
It was not the most accurate of the assets side, Personal I really do not like that sound a bit messy in high gain distortion.
In clean it out. Nothing transcendent.
Well of course, versatility is not his thing.

For use metal I put him 8.
For its lack of versatility, I take off a point.

OVERALL OPINION

For her price is frankly a surprise, the finish is nickel, super comfortable neck, the sound is not bad at all.
Obviously the look will not please everyone (I really struggled with pentacles ...)
Value for money unbeatable, a 7 strings of this quality at this price it's difficult to find.
I urge all those who are reluctant to move into the world of 7 strings.
