Ibanez is one of those companies and makes very inexpensive and budget friendly guitars and musical equipment such as amplifiers and effects pedals for the budgted musician at hand. It excel in a creating such a high demand and a great market for good sounding and playable music equipment. Their guitars have been use by musicians all over the world and many professional musicians as well. They provide very accurate and easy and comfortable guitars better inexpensive but still retain high-quality playability factors.

SOUNDS

This particular guitar features 24 frets with two humbuckers and one single will pick up in the middle between the two humbucker pick ups. This is a pretty versatile guitar as far as the pick up come because you have any variance of different pick ups located throughout the body of the guitar. So with the two humbucker pickups and the single coil pickup you can get some great versatile tones depending on how you select your pick ups. You also get a Floyd Rose bridge which gives you the ability to squeal off some nice tremolo octave pitching.

The tone is guitar is not that great of the tone but it does provide the user a great playable guitar for a very inexpensive price. The neck is very fluid and smooth and very comfortable to the touch. It makes it very easy to play chords and single note racing for soloing on this guitar. It's a very overall fun guitar to play because of its comfort ability and just perfect balance. I see perfect balance because it's very balanced towards hard rock and metal but not extremely balanced towards medium to low rock music or pop music. This is the kind guitar a hard rock or someone he's learning how to play the guitar because it's such an easy guitar play.

These guitars working pretty much any amplifier setting whether it's a clean amplifier I get amplifier. However, I would suggest that the best way this guitar sound would be through a high gain amp such as a marshal amplifier or a Mesa boogie amplifier or anything in that kind of range. These guitars really excels when you get a lot of distortion behind them and really pushing good feel and drive in the tone.


OVERALL OPINION


These guitars I have been discontinued now for a while but you can find the on the used section or in the classifieds fairly easy. I've seen them hover and go a ride around the range of $200 which is an exceptional price for a great sounding an playable guitar. I had a recommend this to anyone is looking for a good shredder guitar or someone is looking to pick up the guitar for the first time at a budget price.

But rather focuses Bourrin Ibanez is very polyvalant (if). It is no longer manufactured I think.

UTILIZATION

I only played twice on this guitar and it is an RG that is:
- The handle enjoyable?
- Access to acute (recent freight) is easy

SOUNDS

The potatoes are 2 double recess but must go behind the effects, from ibanez (in that range) mics tend to drool in some serious scratch. We need to try it.
On my RG-470, the microphones are worth far V7 and microphones that have a clear sound amazing.

Ibanez annoying little trick on this type, in a double clear sounds saturate and it is ugly.

OVERALL OPINION

Frankly Ibanez makes great guitars but then pay much more than 1000 francs and buy the RG470 is a must for my part of the RG series for a great value for money.
At the time, a fan of Steve Vai I wanted to buy the 270 and me all sellers oriented 470 which is a really good guitar.
Obviously the 270 is good to start having the value for money (2000 frs I think).

UTILIZATION

Super set, although this is very subjective. It is thinner than Jackson, but very enjoyable to play.
Easy Access acute boxes.

BIG black dot on the Floyd is a crap name! Let me explain:
- The rod is fixed in a nut screwed around the plate. If you stop the rod in the nut, after a month everything is loose and it is good for a complete breakdown ... Otherwise it should be left unlocked in the stem nut, but it creates the game, and it dangle vertically, not great if you want to keep on hand
- On mine (I do not know if it is systematic), the Floyd did not return to the agreement! After light use (style variation in tone or half tone), it takes 2-3 seconds to back the agreement, and after great shots, so there you can always wait ... anyway the guitar go out of tune constantly, it's a horror ...

SOUNDS

I use it mainly with large distos Metal. Good but not great. A good ratio Q / P, but the microphones did not break bricks. Okay for those who want good sound without breaking the bank. The microphone has a cool sound sharp with good stuff behind, but lacks a little power.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 2 years. The highlights for me:
+ + + Handle very nice and very accessible
+ + Good value for money in this price range
+ + Versatile model that works well for big sounds. The microphone also has a serious sound pretty hot not too bad.
- Without proper microphones
--- None Floyd (stem + mechanism)

C is made to play metal or rock in general ...
microphones are very average, but c is logical at this price.
Sounds like a good scratch to start ... and then you can always slam an emg or seymour ... that the exchange at all ....

OVERALL OPINION

Good guitar for beginners ... you just a sec but not for the skyscrapers that rocks like jackson or esp ...
there for the price ... and its great advantage is that it is easy to play ...
For sound, Powersound, c is the shit ... absolutely has to change (especially when one is familiar with emg 81)

Mine is a fairly old model (purchased new in 1998) which has at least 7 years. Made in Corea (jtrouve rather odd that some of you have put Japan instead of Korea but Ibanez has changed TFW).
It did not seem to be the same model as the most recent RG270 (compared to that of a friend who has 2 years), the sound is indeed much better on this old model, including more than sustain, but I was lucky TFW leq on sticks, will know.
24 frets, original pickups except that I put a TB4 seymour in bridge (aka JB Trembucker) and there ouahhhhhh, it changes all the sound: It really potato I will detail later

The floyd is pourrave desire to pull even with a standard AC is 2 hours before returning to the tuning or AC then never come back: the big black spot on this guitar in my opinion.
2nd largest black spot for me: the quality of the metal frets: it sounds stupid but they wear out super speeds, it is that I really dug the frets and the coup bah, ca fret, even with a good setting (the problem may be resolved by then ibanez).

UTILIZATION

The neck is super cool, very fast to play for those who love the sleeves flat with easy access to acute hyper. I would personally would a bit wider with an ebony fingerboard (oue ok jfait choosy). But there is surely no better handle a guitar of this price.
weight is quite heavy in the thick body, but it ensures good sound, in the end it's not annoying and much lighter than a les paul (at least an epiphone)
regarding his right to obtain UIN: no problem the pots are of good quality but yet the settings are weaklings but sure of classical guitars in this price:
-> The first half of the race Knob volume is almost to nothing (the empty ds: yay utility)
-> Knob the lack of medium tone (not sure how to say chai AC otherwise): the addition of a capacity to solve a problem can, but we play almost never below 3 / 4 of the race.
However it is very easy to get something that sounds and settings remain effective.

SOUNDS

Well then I explain the sound with TB4, PCQ original bridge pickup was not worth it: it lacks color, harmonics potato: a brief drawn => TB4 with nothing to do it right away a more violent and more hot (this microphone goes very well with this guitar) with a grain much more enjoyable.
The neck pickup it is not bad at all, we come to get bluesy stuff, it also goes very well for solo parts cool.
Finally the middle microphone allows for a sound with a lower output gain, start type, and here too, its very correct, it is well suited for low saturations.

I played with a Marshall Valvestate 100W, bah c nickel and ultra versatile (must yavoir millions of people with a RG270 and a VS100: not original but effective).
I get to play all styles (blues, metal, rock) with that, but hey I still bought a strat beside to play good old rock PCQ the rg270 lacks a little personality styles more expressive (but ibanez are similar to 3000 euros on that side).
Coiuplé an old cry baby thunder it works (watch the output gain of the RG is anyway top balèze to cry then turn down the volume a bit)

OVERALL OPINION

Used for 7 years is always a good scratch agree that both beginners and experienced musicians can fortunate (a change is needed to bridge pickup all the same, tinkering with electronics pti). She always met LOTS and jme say that to see the difference in the same style of guitar (if we exclude the floyd which sucks and frets that wear out too quickly) will really have to type in the high end. What I prefer is the sustain, but I saw other RG270 who had much less: so be careful.

I had time to try other models and this one really stand out in the price range - from 3000 francs which I had set myself).
In short a great guitar very versatile, it has too much personality but hey ..... AC is an ibanez
Great value for money (to buy there OCCAZ, ca vau not kick-nine per cons buy ca and c such that for all guitars)
Basically if it over again, I would make the same choice but with a hand model (which will not have worn the frets: p).

UTILIZATION

I have this guitar for a year and a half is my first is actually a very good guitar for beginners, the only disadvantage is the setting of the floyd, I pretty galley on my side and it not obvious to solve this problem without help from someone who really knows it. I think it's a good quitar to start because the handle is nice and that access to treble is very easy. I made the mistake of buying this guitar while I played the rhythm part in my group and I must say that this guitar is made to play the lead.

SOUNDS

For audio, it all depends on the amplifier and microphone, the mine is equipped with a double micro seymour duncan, and I have started with a Cheez-Vantage is not very easy to find sounds with a typed small amp, my bass player above me shouting that I turn my distortion while I was in clean ... Counsel, it goes best on a Power Ball Engl! Otherwise in terms of adjusting the sound is nothing to say, there are 5 position microphone that allow you to choose different sounds: heavy foil dry (type metal box) ... for distortion, and light metal or soft felted ... for clean, with the tone control can find plenty of interesting sound. If the experience I would do with this choice? In the immediate, not because I too struggle to settle my floyd, and I do not really serve the vibrato ...

The handle is nice although a little wide, access to acute and good. Once settled we avoid floyd frieze that it touches the low E, but vauit best to avoid playing too much with ...

SOUNDS

I used this guitar for metal and heavy punk genre Exploited, Mesa, Marshall, POD and J-Station, 52/11 strings and tuning in C #.

The basic sound is absolutely disgusting, the distos drool on his "clear" is appalling, if the volume and tone are not fully even worse (yeah worst possible qu'épouvantable and bastards! ).

After replacing the knobs, the condenser microphones and by Di Marzio, the sound changes at all in all, it's like having a new guitar, but it makes the job more and 2000F (price 99).

I put 3 because the original pickups.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it since 1999, I love the handle, it is not too heavy after the change of micro, I got a good sound versatile.

Before I buy an old Yamaha Pacifica, value for money is good enough, it's a good guitar to start when you're not demanding in terms of sound, after you change the pickups and hop a new guitar.

I think I would do the same choice because with a tight budget, this is what was best.

Access to treble is ok but the frets do not really help ..
Form, but aggressive classical and I like that weight is not excessive.

Dedicated to heavy rock, I used it with a Peavey Studio Pro 112 and a Fender 130W (bcp better in fact), dual microphones allow its metal its low quality makes mushy, vague, in a word, ugly ...
To my surprise it sounded better than plain distortion, with a fairly diverse range of sounds depending on the position of the selector!
And finally I loved both the micro environment of the simple double-sided easel for distortion, too choked and dirty otherwise.

OVERALL OPINION

I kept 3 years and have sold to move to a Squier Fat Start Standard with Seymour Duncan humbuckers at the bridge, the difference in accuracy is stirring ...
Its pointed shape, aggressive, liked me very much, and was finishing DX pale blue-green metallic (very good) and the marks on the handle so shark teeth (Yeah, but less good ..)
Basically it was more for form and substance that I bought it, and then Ibanez had a pretty good reputation (the Offspring Wuhu!) (Now I am wary of them!), And j ' I regret having made an aesthetic choice ... even if my new Squier is (relatively) ugly, I do not care!

Ale I bought second hand at a low price. For me it is not worth more than EUR 200.
I'd say it's not so bad when you start.
Even if the floyd is annoying the sound is still honorable compared to scratch at 150-200 euros and the guitar is comfortable to play.

I do not think I would do this if I had the same choice budjet (about 200 euros, I would turn to a simple guitar (NOT FLOYD) (kind yamaha pacifica)

UTILIZATION

The handle is nice but very flat and thin without being as much as the Jacksons (which I personally find unbearable).
Access to acute is exemplary (RG form requires) but the lack of sustain on the 3 last box in my opinion makes them unusable.
The shape is well balanced and fairly standart weight.
As stated previously, the floyd is a true m *** e. Could the early years of stay granted and the bar is difficult. After changing the springs for stiffer (and its bright IKEA desk lamps is the same size!) And years of service and setting daily, it stabilizes and I now rule that every six months .
The basic sound is not great, the pickups are Powersound entry level and it feels on.

SOUNDS

I think this guitar is pretty versatile. It depends on what you put him as a micro. Basic in every way you will not sound so much adapt.
For my part I did in the fineness by equipping DiMarzio D2n (which are long gone) which are passive pickups with very high output. So I turned the neck pickup and simpler and I simplified the wiring to prevent magnetic interference and wireline losses. On arrival, most of its light rail but a huge and great accuracy. OVERALL OPINION

I use this guitar for 12 years now. So that was the old model was better.
Frankly, I also played on Jackson RR5, Kelly, BC Rich Warlock, Ibanez SA, etc. ... and these models all have a bit more expensive, had no better sound in my RG. She has aged well and has even improved with age.
Obviously it is an entry-not top top. But with patience and changing the microphone, the floyd and fittings we can do things well.
