« Ibanez RG 270 »
Published on 08/15/04 at 15:00I boght this guitar from a locar dealer and y paid 340$.
I basicaly like it 'cuz I love Ibanez, and I love RG. I love the shape of the rg models.
The nec shape is so cool and al like this guitar because every pick up setting sounds different, and the pickups are ok specially the brige hambucker. I calibrated this guitar and i had no problems with the neck or string buzzing at any fret wiht a good level possition of the bridge and an firm flat neck you wont have any problems. but this is a lower series on ibanez guitars so that wont last long, you have to perdiocaly tune up the guitar, i do it every mont of hard playing.
I dont like the colour that much, but since I desesperatedly wanted an Ibanez I basically had no choice. And everytime you try to tune this guitar the rest strings loose its tune result of the not so elaborated Floyd Rose tremolo bridge so its very enoing to tune it, it takes like more than 5 minutes everytime. plus you have to cut the ball-end of the strgings and thas a problem you wont find in any other higher series of ibanez. but you get used to it.
Average. At first look it seems like a good quality guitar but in a closer view you will see that this guitar is only AVERAGE, far from perfetc and away from very good. but it will last long if you take care of it until you save money and buy a better one. (that's what im doing) the finish is ok but the knobs and the rest of the circuitry is just average.
good one for starter metal kids, and good if you wanted an Ibanez RG and you want something better in the future. Good for gigs altough.
