Here's my little Pearl on the kit CR-E Pro Live

So this is it I tested the E-pro Live to Strasbourg this Baguetterie aprem with my father and the result is simple ... : A black on order for the Padre. And I say immediately I could make my TD-12 for an E-pro.

First of all I would make my Roland TD-12 for Pearl E-Pro Live especially for a touchdown and sounds.
For the drums hit is virtually identical to that of an acoustic drum. Frankly it's a different world compared to the skin mesh. For the bass drum is also affected much more pleasant compared to my little pad KD-85BK.
Then the dimensions of those barrels prochent an acoustic kit add much to the playability and enjoyment rescent behind the drums. We really feel like a drummer behind the kit, not like on my TD-12 with which I seem to play into the void sometimes.
FYI, despite the size of the package footprint is not much larger than a TD-12.
For details of detection of striking it is virtually perfect at the drums and close to perfect for rim shots for the bass drum is also very clean.
Cymbals for my father and I preferred models EPC2 plastic compared to E-Classic Metal (the E-Classic identical with Alesis). The affected under the baton of E-Classic is too metallic and too hard because of their large thickness compared to a real cymbal. For the sensations under the baton EPC2 are good but a bit below the Roland cymbals (I mean CY-12 CY-14 or CY-15R). Otherwise, the detection accuracy of the cymbals is pretty good but also below that of Roland. Choking is pretty easy to make but I had more trouble on the ride 14 "crash on the 12". The Rolands are again superior in this respect.
Cons by the hi-hat is not the strong point of the kit. The foot pedal completely different to the touch of a real hi-hat is really confusing at first. I find it less accurate and had a little trouble to play the openings in a fast beat or shades closed. To me this is the big downside of the E-Pro Live. The details and hit the VH-11 and VH-12 Roland is not yet matched.
The hardware is really good and the rack is perfectly stable, there is nothing wrong side of this, normal hardware is Pearl.
The second great asset of this Pearl is the quality of his kits. I was really amazed. I had already found that the sound seemed very close to acoustic kits watching videos on the net, but in truth and headphone I have tried with severity. Well, it is final, Roland is exceeded even compared to a TD-20 module. With Roland I still feel to hear electronic sounds. The Pearl with this sounds really seem to have been recorded on acoustic kits. It's really this makes me want to change my Roland.
Frankly it is a success of the adapter with my Roland TD-12 only 4 or 5 sets of 50 I like the 100 kits on the module from the Pearl there is a dixaine I don ' like it.
The simplicity of the module Pearl is a plus for me and my father who did not need to go into details of the settings. For some this may be a big minus because the possibilities of setting modules Roland TD-12 or 20 are incomparable.
And the noise the neighbors by playing that Pearl is a bit supperior than done with a Roland but really nothing too serious. On this point, the kit also fulfills its role drumkit "silent". on the other hand it is important not to expect to remain discreet with cymbals E-Classic, this model is very noisy ...
We have not tested all the time or drums (snare and tom 14 ") with an acoustic and real skin test was inconclusive. Drums 6 ply maple make what they are given under the baton. The sound is warm and it's music. The first impression is good.
