Yamaha DTX500K

I use it for 7 months and I am disappointed!
I bought the Yamaha DTX500 from home to connect to the PC to use EZDrummer and any other kind of VST.
To finish the afternoon is NOT AT ALL STABLE (ghost notes randomly apparraisse ca can come at any time), I thought it was my computer but after having check all information and after ca be a problem of firmware and map that , because the tsunami would have had a little too much neglected
I call it cowardly YAMAHA not assume they are not aware should not rely on them

How long have you use it?

Have you tried many other models before acqurir?

- No, just a MultiPad, but see nothing ...

What is the particular feature you like best and least?

- The pros: price, size, rponse of the pad, the module and all possible configurations
- The -: may be its weight ...


So the APRS trying for one month, I am delighted.
First of all, I just dconcert t by its weight. I find it a bit heavy and not very practical move (once mounted). Ok, so even when less than pnible acoustic. And it is supposed to stay in my apartment so a will ...
For mounting, it is not me who did it (but my nice store clerk), but looks relatively easy, especially since it is a manual o everything well explained (like Ikea, and more ...).
So once everything is plugged in there is more that play !!!!!
While I admit that I t's a little to the sounds on offer dpart by the module. There are many, many, but I thought it sounded a little too synth a cold, short, not really natural. And then I plunged into the (large) manual and saw that we could change full full full of Settings, even a bit too much. So taking some time to toy with rglages, I bin russian ringing early. And ringing my friend! It really is not far from acoustic.
At the pads, bin is not bad either. It bounces a lot, but you get used quickly. For when we go against an acoustic, you feel good even when the difference. The big advantage of the pads is that I find trs silent. In a modern apartment no one has yet complained in a month (I jou sometimes late at night).
Then I connect my computer via the midi out to usb. Using the soft addicitve drum, the bin is that of happiness, sounds of hell and are hyper rponse prcise fast, zero latency!
Finally, I'm super happy with my purchase, I have no regrets. I think the future customizer with mesh pad (you can add up to four pads and more, via jack Y).

For an entry-level is that of happiness, here you go!!
