I use for 1 year. She used to play, but I'm not very "game", and especially to read DVD and BlueRay. In both areas it excels, I almost never crash, never slowing, it is quite developed. Compared to PC games is a terrible simplicity to implement, and not be bored with the compatibility of components. Good point, too: no more memory cards to save the progress of its parts, finally!
With its Internet connection, updates are fastoche, I can even read BlueRay 3D now, and play 3D games designed for this purpose. It's quite impressive. The connection also allows the parties to the network via the net, the Sony site is huge and global, it is sometimes quite confusing to play with Japanese and South American, while I'm in my sofa in Paris ... I'm not jaded, what do you want.
HDMI connected to my system HomeCinoche, I have only one fault with him: a handle, it's still less convenient than a remote control for watching movies.
Oh yea, and also: a weird shape that can not stack with other elements fi or video of my living room.
