SONiVOX has announced the availability of their latest batch of DVI products (Downloadable Virtual Instruments).
DVIs are designed to provide a selection of value priced instruments for musicians of all types. The latest offering includes Symphonic Ensemble Strings v2.0 and Symphonic Ensemble Brass v2.0 taken from SONiVOX’s flagship product: Sonic Implants Symphonic Collection.
Symphonic Ensemble Strings, $79.95, features ensemble legato & pizzicato strings taken from SONiVOX’s Symphonic String Collection. These 24-bit dual velocity string patches offer “lush expressiveness, ” according to SONiVOX.
Five sections: Basses, Cellos, Violas and 1st & 2nd Violins – recorded in their proper orchestral positions and layered together into one ensemble string section.
Symphonic Ensemble Brass, $79.95, features ensemble legato & staccato brass recordings taken from SONiVOX’s fSymphonic Brass Collection. They’re 24-bit dual velocity brass patches.
Includes Tuba, Trombones, French Horns, and Trumpets – recorded in their proper orchestral positions and layered together into one ensemble brass section.
All DVIs come equipped with their own virtual instrument engine with a selection of FX by SONiVOX and iZotope, including Chorus, Delay, Reverb, Amp Simulator, and EQ, as well as a filter and envelope controls section.

All SONiVOX DVIs are compatible with Mac OS X and Windows environments as a standalone instrument as well as a plug-in within any VST, AU or RTAS host.
