Fender releases the new F-Series in Europe

The new Fender F-Series pays homage to the F models created in the 1970s, so you will find on this new edition the large headstock and the Viking-style rosewood bridge, which were used during this era. But Fender also wanted a more “natural” look and inlaid a maple logo on the headstock, maple and rosewood rosette, a maple “F” inlaid on the 12th fret as well as maple bindings on certain models.

The F-Series comprises 6 guitars, three acoustic dreadnoughts and three electric-acoustic dreadnought cutaway.

The F-1000 Dreadnought and F-1000CE Dreadnought Cutaway have the following specifications:

• Laminated spruce top
• Laminated Mahogany back and sides
• Scalloped “X” bracing
• Maple/mahogany/maple rosette
• Black bindings and black/white/black purfling
• Mahogany neck with C shape
• Rosewood fingerboard with 11.81” radius, 20 vintage-style frets and maple “F” inlaid on the 12th fret
• Nut width: 1.69”
• Scale length: 25.3”
• Viking-style rosewood bridge with compensated GraphTech Nubone saddle
