I've bought on the recomendations of friends! I needed something that sonnet is the point bar!

USE

ca not move, I use cubase my vst are very greedy they are the ones that limits the number of tracks! there is often data updates, latency varies be 3 and 7 this depends on what I'm doing!

NOTICE GLOBAL

I have it for almost 3 years before I'd motu, which are very good! but the big diff is the effects of the metric! with somation there is no picture! c is expensive but ....... the only default is c n which is not compatible pc, otherwise I have not found better !!!

With 8 analog inputs + 8 + 2 ADAT AES, it seemed like a good base to start a home studio. Its routing possibilities, especially for headphones send me convinced.
The software is so easy to use, I have not even had a search in the help or anything.

UTILIZATION

There is no latency, if utliise internal software for recording, once you pass on Logic or Reaper or other software, then yes there is latency.
The drivers are super stable, updated regularly.
Do not overlook the customer service is MetricHalo hyper-reactive, this is always fun (however I've never had a case them, I am the echo forum here).
I record concerts more than one hour, 48 tracks, mixing with a fireface and ULN8 not a bug.

GETTING STARTED

Everything is super simple. Mio Console software ergonomics resume a table mix roughly with so much in TO DISPATCH we want as many necks group you want.
Of DSP signal processing provide impeccable, the kind of plugin allows to deal directly, like compression, EQ, transient designer, amp simulation, etc. .. with a module "graph" can make his patch oneself more say more personalized treatment.
The summing via this card is also a must.

OVERALL OPINION

It is therefore more than 4 years that I use in my home or on the road, the installation is fast, stable drivers, and you can configure it as you want for output.
I just brings a downside, compared to preamps are a bit noisy if you have to push. In other words, I limit myself to save batteries or other strong sources with.
I have a ULN8 in complement to more discrete sources.
In any case, for the price, I honestly regret it.

OVERALL OPINION

This is a small balance APRS upgrade my MIO with the 2D map.

Order placed directly from Metric Halo, REU 4 days later. No problem!

Installation very easy, even when taking the time to do things properly. It took me about 30 min.

Upgrade firmware updates downloads the latest version of the MIO console and go.

Very easy handling, UI trs similar to traditional studio console. The Routing options are impressive.

For the test mix, I used a session of 18 tracks (in the mix with a max unit. Stabilit flawless channel strip impressive suprieur TDM version! Gte almost nonexistent Phase , fearsome effectiveness. The reverb is good quality but fairly limited. It is well worth the power plugs but will not replace a 6000! The section "Character" is quite impressive. Simulation of slices is rv the trsraliste and effective. There are sound Neve, SSL, Studer and API (as far as I could identify).

Live test configuration: mixing + recording faade and return of the session. 16 microphones (8 ADAT), M5000 and H3000 as effects sends. Stability copy, no worries, trs flexible. No worries clock (sync with WC, MIO in the Matra). Big sound in perspective!

In résumé is an extraordinary machine! Almost the equivalent of a large studio console trs (Neve or SSL type). Trs above the ProTools HD and others to the mix!

Some flats all of the same. Only compatible with the Mackie Control protocol CONTRL and lack of automation (probably in the next version implementations). Drop the end of a reading session. Delay a fair bit (230 samples).

In short, the upgrade for 320 euros, having no hsitation and even the price of the can (1700) is low in relation to the possibility

Well here I upgrade mine and the fact that serious!
Install no problem, pinball has, in fact better take your time, but no problem. Of video on their site explains the manipulation in dtail is not wrong.
I am amazed by the quality of this set days (hardware I recall) for that price, other (or any other) would not release a new model hsit super expensive. BRAVO to this philosophy that keeps its hardware and it is not obsolete. It's important for me!
So, great interface, everything is very well done and simple trs next to its power. Routing that allows grate to mix in 5.1.
Mackie Control support AND Eucon, the protocol of all Euphonix dchire!
The characters are terrible, super fine, they amnent a real "trick" in the electrical signal, bluffing and bluffing amliore really great color and a signal on each slice, including virutel, including master!

Some small amliorations same for me when:
better signage to bypass an insert (for now it runs just in Italy but no color change, which is even more visible when)
better implmentation of the Mackie Control when going from bank to bank
rverb a less greedy, even if I find it rverb their class, it is wonderful spices trsralistes.
a rotary rglage for character capable of determining this
an interface to send galre just for now, but they are aware and bump above the background, we expect the update.

otherwise it's the ball, their plugs are impressive, eg their new kid on Transient Controller (control the dynamics of a track) is amazing!
getting started can be trs simple (editable preset) or more complicated (we do everything ourselves even).

I would do this choice every day and all the studs, a real alternative PTHD (is theft!) Or Pyramix (which is really gnial).

Used in home studio with a MacBook Pro 4GB RAM boost.
18 inputs and outputs. 8 Pramper of quality with a gain limit though.
Converting AD / DA. Very specific on VU meters. Super clock, expanded version, the new 3D sound.

UTILIZATION

Very stable drivers. With Reaper presque'aucune fault. All the sounds may come and go freely.
6 tracks max at the same time yet. 2 empty headphones electric junk. Chui a handyman sound.
Strictly no latency. After several hours of nonstop work, she likes when even be redmare.

Installation ok. Just a few bugs in the update because I did not lopard snow, but on the site other versions are arranged.

It's a perfect card. Almost everything is configurable control. Inputs, outputs.
Reaper with my table I mix my MIO and soft and I do almost everything I want. Plugs great, simulation Pramper excellent (do not replace the real but contribute greatly to the sound. AD / DA Conversion on top. ULN8 LATEST Knows not their but for now my mixes and plugs are extremely faithful and the reality. No latency. apprcient The zicos I save as much as me.
And then finally the sound. What sound!

Pramper with a gain of 30db. Lots of headroom. For a battery is nickel, a voice whispers a little less.

Frankly I returned yet. Again as a self-taught, I can not compare with big consoles, but I hear enough.

This tool allows you to make a studio quality without the dbourser are unknown to ordinary mortals, as the case c'tait 10 years in rear.

I needed a lot of tracks for recording and 18 tracks as inputs, it's just what I needed.

The Drives are a real pleasure. It is a policy of metric halo that constantly keep its products at the best quality.
I work with Digital Performer or Live, and I recorded without problems up to 16 simultaneous tracks.
Latency is a problem ...

After a year of use, I had some problems with this card at the start because it should never be plugged into the computer if it is lit ... So I was back in customer service ...

Without this story, this sound card that has qualities.

The quality of manufacture, preamp, routing, interface, ... are real strengths on this map.
The price is just illustrative of what we buy and the customer service ...

I've redone this choice, because before I had a ULN2 ... Brand Metric Halo has my full confidence.
