Since no precision exist on this subject, I am more than happy to provide ...
I use the material ALTEC for many years and of course I am more than satisfied! A7 the voice of the theater are the speakers of another era, as unconventional in the template, their contruction is rfrants the famous "golden ratio" utiliss for its design.
Their performance is close to 4 fnomnal Db used according to the speaker and therefore not commensurate with a closed chamber.
Both speaker and bass RFLEX close its operation in a certain frquence, it is being taken.
The MODEL I possde is as shown above but the woofer is 8 421 as used in the 80's in a cinma Brussels ...

Pouren come to my deuxime the pair is to use my home out of pure passion and the sound is coming out in the first row litralement, netet the serious impact of a medium model affirm go down more easily to 30 or 40 Hz with a membrane more flexible than I possde.
Das my setup a very good amp configuration is necessary to give the "juice" she asks ... (old harman kardon gnration so large capacitors!)
As for the upper spectrum the pavilion very CHARACTERISTICS rings true and is sensasionelle prsence voices really.
Of course it does not match for a current monitor like Genelec, but Genelec (or other) will not make the weight in large studios or that it works wonders.
It is part of the pass I'm crazy like the rest of the range, I have 816 that are also great .. The series amp and the era ...
As you can see, passionate but I am very clear by the performance entousiaste ..
