For years I was searching for JBL SR 4733 or 4732 or 4738 .. (real, not copies because we see a lot of teams sometimes even HP JBL and worse, stamps JBL) for their high sound quality and reliability any evidence.
It is found because sales are from word of mouth, confidential genre.
the web is getting better but to look them away, very far away.
JBL user since 1977, musician and occasionally sound technician with a vision of a musician, I always normment apprci the quality and realism of sound JBL, the manufacturer (not assembler) with 60 years of experience and excellence (JBL has guided the evolution of professional sound with his Electro Voice cts)
Dynamics sr4733 is impressive, serious hit fast and hard (HP 2226H 38cm> 35Hz), do not hang the mdiums frequencies are prsentes and acute spectrum are far without deformation, which , thanks a great engine coupled to the pavilion (HP 2447J 90 x 50> 20Khz when 500hz same !!) to yield 129dB.
In those times, 1996, JBL had ever thought of safety in its files quipant pregnant speakon neutrick and possibility 2 active or passive way + jacks in case o ...
Attention: JBL does not like mdiocres amplifiers, so prvoir the Crown (XTI series that goes very well) or the QSC AUDIO PLX series, a must.
I finally found one pair of team more with the rings to be suspended (factory option) which sounds devilishly good.
prvoir a cart to transport the pair.
Without hesitation whatsoever, I would do this choice with regard to the reputation of the brand and the ease of resale.
I cost of Nexo and other L Acoustics (assemblers products) that sembl me on a long concert will not hold a charge, and run out of steam after 3 hours of concert. Information taken fabriqus on HP specifications and tender .. are very difficult retrievable in case of breakage, which explains the number of quips systems HP "equivalents" that no sound, and worse are dsquilibrs when change is not performed in pairs (s).
I hesitated contrast with Electro Voice Eliminator and sub Clair Brothers (as Euro Disney).
Used it's expensive, like a Mercedes, unless it is a liquidation discotheque ...
What I prefer: power handling, dynamics, finesse.
