Pedal based on the circuit of Dallas Arbiter FUZZFACE.
The original with "defects" to guitarists in the 21st century we are (or qualities for some), the developer (NERD) is the corrected to the power embedded in our current Pedalboards:
- 1 and 1 transistor germanium silicone for added stability
- Button "TMF" for assaying low and thus able to place Wah AFTER the fuzz
- Protection system against radio waves
- 9v power supply (type Boss) protected against parasites

UTILIZATION

Can not be simpler ...
There is a very large button that must be pressed to trigger the effect (a Russian tank could move it without damaging it)
the bias adjustment is internal, but this is not a problem. Once set, you touch more, because the transistors seem really insensitive to temperature variations.
It can be used with active pickups, a wireless system or a buffer placed before.

SOUND QUALITY

Then there is the slap!
THE germanium fuzz sound, smooth, slimy, organic, with whatever definition more (perhaps the silicon transistor).
TMF setting is magical. I always found that germanium FF sounded too "bassy". We find that with the TMF thoroughly. But set to 15h, I have a really balanced sound that comes out of the mix, just perfect!
Icing on the cake, with this configuration, the Fuzz Tool sounds of thunder after my wah. These are actually the low FF of "traditional" wah to prevent wouahwouah. TMF solves this problem.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 2 weeks: no regrets! I can not turn it off so the sound is good ...
A bit expensive (195 €) but the quality is paid.
I am delighted to have discovered this manufacturer have had contact with him very friendly (NERD allias Ad Van Dongen was able to advise me on my pedalboard and even makes me a buffer to measure!)
