Ableton users invited to beta test Live 9.1

Ableton is opening the Live 9.1 beta test to the public and invites you to participate.

Live 9.1 adds many new features to both the DAW and Push controller, including dual window and dual monitor support, which allows arrangement and session views to be organized side by side on one or two monitors.

Push users will have the ability to test the newly-developed melodic step sequencer which allows notes to be entered manually or hand-played in real time with the pads. In addition, all automatable parameters in Live can now be step-sequenced and edited using the encoders on Push.

The update also includes a new rendering algorithm that improves audio quality when exporting from higher to lower sample rates.

Various minor improvements and bug fixes have also been included.

If you are a registered user of Live 9 Suite, Standard or Intro, you can register and participate to the public beta test at www.ableton.com/en/beta/.
