Acoustica has released a Public Beta version of the next major version of its multitrack recording studio application Mixcraft 5.

Please note that this is the first beta release and it will contain bugs. It can be installed on a machine with Mixcraft 4 and it will not interfere with Mixcraft 4.

- Noise Reduction per sound.
- Musical Typing Keyboard.
- Track FX and Instrument automation.
- Send busses/aux busses.
- Master Track automation.
- New fresh graphics in the interface.
- Detachable Details pane.
- Record directly to OGG.
- New loop clip button.
- Link/unlink clip option.
- New VST instruments, including Lounge Lizard, Messiah and Expanded Instruments, Alien 303 bass synth.
- Pultronic Tube EQ.
- New combinations/patches.
