I never had any problems with installation of Samplitude (I use it since version 6.
The CodeMeter is not a problem either, unlike other software that uses dongles (some Plugg example).
I put 7 because the manual could be much more complete. it's a shame. But I'm still left with the user forum which is very useful.
SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE
I have a 4U Racksen silent, and like to work (I 4). Some are dual intel, other mono. I use sound cards RME Multiface.
Samplitude has always worked well. no stability problem, except sometimes in the .00 version updates. If not, no problem.
OVERALL OPINION
So I use Samplitude 5 years in a pro. I work 99% of sound wave. So I am not to discuss the stalled South. When I need to have, it works very well.
For me, this software is the most creative and flexible to any work based on sound wave.
We can mix formats without worry, to mono and stereo sound on the same track. The calculations are fast. The mounting possibilities are better than elsewhere.
Object-oriented work, too long to develop here, is simply a marvel. saving time, saving manipulation, fewer songs.
Level mixing is just like a pro tools with a little less automation.
The audio quality is excellent.
I had a Pro Tools and I sold it for samplitude, without regret.
What I like least:
- No import OMF for the audiovisual work
- The type controleursmidi Mackie Control works just no more. I read that the team has just samplitude "hire a guy just for that then it should eject the near future.
