It was expected for NAMM, but the Tracktion team took a few more days to release of the 5th version of their DAW.

- ARA integration for Celemony Melodyne
- Edit Clip feature that allows for embedding multitrack material as if it were an audio clip and edit the content
- System Resource Manager to optimize the computer resources
- Freeze Point to choose which elements in the session will be included in an automatic pre-rendering, which reduces the CPU resources
- Improved MIDI features with the In-Line Step Sequencer section designed to create beats with plug-ins, with edition capacities within the timeline
- New version of the Piano-Roll with new automation per note and MIDI Learn features
- Multi-dimensional control support for compatible instruments (ROLI Seaboard for instance)
- Track presets
- Audio comping
- Various enhancements
The update to version 5 is available for $29.99, the price of the licence for new buyers is $59.99. You can also download a trial version from www.tracktion.com.
