Overbridge is designed for users of the Analog Four, Analog Keys and Analog Rytm analog devices to integrate with their DAW on Mac and PC. Elektron has developed AU and VST plug-ins that allows for direct control of the analog hardware from within the DAW, as well as editing and sequencing from the DAW via a 24-bit bidirectional USB connection.
You can then use Overbridge to record directly multiple Elektron Analog devices to your DAW on separated tracks, or send audio from the DAW to the analog circuit. Elektron adds that it will even be possible to use the Analog units as USB sound cards thanks to this technology.
Overbridge will be available via a free update of the OS of the Analog Four, Analog Keys and Analog Rytm, but this won’t happen before the end of the year.
