I have a better range and a better sound quality with a small chinese wireless (transmitter receiver) for headphone the wl20 don't go more than 6 meters if you hide the connection with your body (which is hard to avoid when you play the guitar with the amp behind you if you want to play facing the crowd.
and the cable tone simulation is just screwing the sound quality for no reason.
don't buy it if you want a good sound or the promised range by boss.
