Short delay pedal, digital, including:
- 1 input, 2 ouput for any stereo output.
- A rotary switch MODE 2 position (delay of 400 ms to 800ms).
- D. TIME (Time Delay)
- F. BACK (Feedback)
- E. LEVEL (level of effect)
- Indicator light when the effect is activated.
- Battery compartment so BOSS
- Plug for 9 volt power supply (not supplied) => I recommend using the power supply, the delays being energy efficient.
UTILIZATION
Simple configuration, you have to tune the pedal with all knobs at noon, then seeks the desired sound by turning the knobs. The manual comes down to one sheet of A4 paper in Chinese and English, but no such sound.
Personally, I wanted to decorate my few leads and especially my sound clear arpeggios. I had to spend 5 minutes to find a sound approaching what I wanted ... Super easy!
SOUND QUALITY
The sound quality for this price range is the crazy enough, the pedal does not buzz, no noise (be careful though plug the pedal in the effects loop of your amp if it is a recipe for disaster) are the sounds of nature quite vintage, it is normal in the short delay, and despite only 2 modes or delay the BOSS has 7, and although I admit that in fact is quite sufficient and it covers quite a record result. Playing with the knobs when the pedal is plugged in, it is possible to output sounds pretty weird to try to live so.
I tried the pedal with the following configuration:
Mr Hector Laboga 100 watts
Homemade baffle 4 * 12 (HP celestion equipped)
LTD V401
SG Custom
BETA AIWIN DD-2 (in the loop again)
this type of pedal enhances your arpeggios, I even found a can make a dub with, and the solos are enriched, the pedal does not change and respects the character of the instruments.
HOLD function would have been welcome but that price is not messing around either.
OVERALL OPINION
I have the past three days, and I have not misused so I was looking for this sound it! I tried the Behringer DD 400, BOSS DD-7, the behringer is plastic and costs 45 € or the beta aiwin is stainless steel case and costs 29.90 ... The BOSS is necessarily extensive, but for 149 €, with half of its features which I never would use as much to buy a pedal up to the point. The value for money at this level it's just the deal of the century.
One of the delays the cheapest I've ever seen, with sound quality, workmanship worthy of the great brands for 4 times cheaper.
This choice, I advise you, and I would do it with your eyes closed!
