Distortion, all metal, true bypass, blue LED dazzling point gain tone volume bar. Taking 9volts standard boss, battery ok but not tested.

Analog transistors, knobs offer precision and stability.

59 Roros is not death, especially for what it offers.

UTILIZATION

It is extremely simple because everything is progressive. The gain goes from clean to distortion almost good iron maiden, the tone is a sharp-cut, the volume goes far enough without distorting the sound.

In fact it is clear as boiboite and very roots in the mind.

In short we know where we are with it.

SOUND QUALITY

Very nice since not smoothed out many details, the grain is catchy and beautiful law.
The rate is progressive drive, always with the earthy color that has the grip while being transparent.
The drive brings more noise than usual, is better to stay with humbuckers or noiseless.
But this pedal really does not compress, regardless of the intentions and attack rate of game are still there.

The tone is well done, because even at nine does not sound dull but light and airy, the pedal fits well with the amp used so.
Especially if it is rich in bass, the shockwave is rather thin so tuned in that case it is simply royal articulation nothing drool.

I use it for two months, with either a Start (Kinman) a les paul (super58), and I am very happy.

As the stratum has a lean and powerful character, and the shockwave is too thin, the result is very realistic, power blues to adonf kws! We can even make with YJM and grain there.

As for the les paul, it's more creamy while remaining defined and very catchy, well balanced. The sustain pedal is the most natural and does not die too fast.

OVERALL OPINION

In short a nice piece to have. Compared to all my behringer / digitech / ibanez soundtank the shockwave is much more roots, without the overlay of artificial equalization devil.
And in relation to pedal tube (factor, liquid blues, solid metal, VT999) is the same, though more mundane, more true roots dirtiest ringworm.

I bought out of curiosity, well I can, it's really something other than what I have. Less political but so realistic and pretty catchy.

Of course I do not play with her, made gravy (hung !)...

I have for now no worries of clicks with true bypass, but this technology will end up doing inexorably over time.
