    Effect type: FLANGER
    analog pedal
4 knobs: speed, depth, regen type
to adjust the speed, depth, and type of regen Flanger (7 in total)

    USE

4 knobs, manual serves little to nothing but quickly found a nice effect.

    SOUND QUALITY

    I use an Ibanez GSA60 + a tube amp marshall 100 watts.cette pedal gives a very good sound ...

    NOTICE GLOBAL

I use it for one week
the sound is great, but it's long to find an effect
I bought this pedal directly on the internet after seeing the digitech site
the price / quality ratio is excellent, Metal pedal like the boss, very good
with the experience I refrais this choice without hesitation.

    guitar center burbank IL
type o uses flange so i had to have one.
they had a variety of flangers at GC but they just gave me this one evidently there's not much competition.

well, i would say it's one versatile little flanger i can't find any way to use the stereo output yet but i'm working on it.
It has some stuff on it that made me say "oh that's how they do that" and that's always nice. I used flange before but specifically the step setting was interesting i'm not really using it now but whatever however i'd like to be able to model some of the effects and mix them together it kinda gets hard to choose between the 6 or 7 different voices and all their different settings and pick jus…

But i guess thats all part of the fun huh?

they probably say this all the time cuz it's standard but no level it'd be nice to have independant level control on it but i guess it's no major issue cuz like no flange pedal has a level control.

pretty good but it's sometimes hard to turn on/off with the pedal a regular footswitch would probably be better.

cool effect pedal if there's a flange out there it'll make it i think.
plus it can be used in stereo that's Nice.

DigiTech Turbo FlangePublished on 05/15/09 at 22:31
The Digitech Turbo Flange is a stereo flanger pedal designed for use with electric guitar. It is a digital piece of gear that has a 1/4 inch input as well as two 1/4 inch outputs if you want to use this as a stereo pedal. The Digitech Turbo Flange is not a rack mountable unit as it is stomp box.

    UTILIZATION

The configuration of the Digitech Turbo Flange is really easy to understand as it is very basic in make up. It simply has four knobs - one for speed, one for depth, one for regen, and one to choose the mode. It contains seven modes in all, all of which are pretty different. While it may not seem like it has a lot of control with only four knobs, there is plenty of tone control a…

It simply has four knobs - one for speed, one for depth, one for regen, and one to choose the mode. It contains seven modes in all, all of which are pretty different. While it may not seem like it has a lot of control with only four knobs, there is plenty of tone control available on this pedal to get a wide variety of different sounds. The manual for the Digitech Turbo Flange is pretty clear and thorough, but really isn't needed as the pedal is easy to figure out on its own.

    SOUND QUALITY

The sound quality of the Digitech Turbo Flange isn't that impressive in my opinion, but still is a useful pedal that has a good amount of different flanger tones. I usually use this pedal with a Fender Strat plugged into a '76 Fender Twin Reverb, so I believe I'm getting a pretty good representation of what this pedal can do. While I do like some of the sounds on this pedal, it just doesn't have that professional sound quality that I look for in a guitar pedal.

    OVERALL OPINION

I've been using the Digitech Turbo Flange for only about a year and I don't use it all that often. I like a few of the sounds on this pedal more than I do the rest, namely the step modes as they have a very cool quality to them. Don't get me wrong, this is a nice sounding pedal with a good deal of versatility, but the professional tone isn't there in my opinion. The price makes it a great option for players on all levels and is perfect for the player looking for a cheap flanger pedal to mess around with. Overall, the Digitech Turbo Flange is a good sounding flanger pedal, but I would much rather have a Boss BF-2 as it is around the same price and sounds way better.
