    Analog flanger pedal
4 knobs rglage effect (frquence, depth, speed, quantity)

    supplied power adapter

    USE

Pretty simple to use, the manual is in English but we quickly understand the role of each knob, I think that over time sufficient for the master

    SOUND QUALITY

This pedal is simply gniale, the bypass is transparent, the sound quality is exceptional! it is possible to obtain a very deep flanger or classic, and even a chorus. that's the sound I was looking for, and a saturated channel obtained result is standard!

here is a very complete pdf which shows some rglages intressants (http://www.laboitenoiredumusicien.com/guitare/revue/banc/DUNLOP/tutorial-flanger-mxr.pdf)

    NOTICE GLOBAL

I use it for almost a month, I takes only 8/10 the overall opinion because of the price which I find quite lev .. (229 negotiates 180) but even that price I would do without this choice hsiter because I really find it auccun default

analog flanger pedal (bucket brigade technology) different from the original model (components, manufacturing, ext 18v power supply) not true bypass (but not necessary, quality buffer) 18v power supply provided (on mine)

    USE

    no need for manual

    SOUND QUALITY

van halen still uses the old version (with cable alim) not even signing his model ... I do not think there is chance. for sound:

Purchased new from ams for 129.00 in 99

Gives great swooping tones with a nice delay type feature. Colors your sound, but in a nice way.

LED switch is tempermental, although it does work most of the time. Definitely a noisy unit, but can be overcome when tweaked. A little confusing, but great for getting that early evh sound. Requires a 9 volt adaptor, no battery backup installed.

Solid cast iron grey, with thick rubber boots on knobs, instills confidence.

Tweak it a bit and you'll get great sounds unavailable with many chorus and phasers Again, nirvana for those trying to get that old evh tone. Downside?, prcey, noisy, and 9 volt current only.

Mine is an original bought in 1977-8 thus
I used it for a few years and then I quit music for 20 years
I emerged 4 years ago, she had a little concern at the switch (probably moisture) but now it works again nickel
it plugs into 220V (no transformer needed)

    It is therefore the flanger
4 knobs: manual, width, speed, regen
it's pretty accurate and you have to use it because the knobs interact with each other
Fortunately, there is an article from the Guitar Part 155 with the most significant adjustments and is available on the net - it does not leave me since

    UTILIZATION

as I said, it is not clear
course can be found very quickly cool sound, but if you really want to understand the machine should read this article

    an excerpt:
"Manual: Determines the delay time through
delay or "core" of both sides which the oscillator
lator will act, this delay may be between
    0.5 and 16 ms.
Width: adjusts the width of the time range
delay will be swept by the oscillator. Addressed in
    minimum, the oscillator control disengages
circuit, so that it makes the maximum
Manual control inoperative, which is logical,
since then scans the entire oscillator
    the range of available delays.
Speed: adjusts the scanning speed of
Low Frenquency Ocillator at a frequency
adjustable between 0.1 Hz and 10 Hz
    Regen: reinjects a quantity variation
ble of the delayed signal to the entrance where
this signal will be delayed again. In
Consequently, the intensity of the effect will be
    increased.
    As you'll see below,
    these four simple settings open
    prospects if the new sound
    combine well. "

    SOUND QUALITY

With it there is a way to get a flanger mild to very severe, a mild to strong chorus, vibrato, a leslie (!), .... until the plane takes off: D
Briefly, it easily replaces 4 pedals!

    OVERALL OPINION

This is THE ULTIMATE flanger I think
nothing wrong, I will always, D
