Published on 11/16/14 at 07:35Pickups handmade, alnico II, used a few times before trying a set Seymour Duncan Alnico II custom shop (the test has been done on several strat (maple fingerboard and rosewood).
Seymour is well above a vintage vibe much more assertive.
To summarize, it is not bad, it sounds better than mics fender series, but it is well below duncan or van zandt for example, it sounds "fake vintage", the price / quality ratio is rather disappointing
