« Very good mics »

QM2 bridge to a very high output crystalline, with a great sound distortion and crunch to the clean
It is very sharp in the limit of crunch at the output.
Very sharp, perfect for rock, metal etc .... For more styles "smooth" we forget the QM2.
Coupled with a single coil in middle, it is sublime, approaching the strat but its a bit more modern. (Surely it depends on the type of guitar used.
The QM1 in the neck position is much more capable of delivering a velvety rich and beautiful clean which is coupled to the single surprise.
Distortion found in a lot of presence and the solos are pushed forward.
Very good short imicros home on my ibanez prestige s1675fm, super versatile when coupled oriented and very big sound for the QM2.
QMS in the middle is really beautiful with a very particular kind grain strat but with something different,
I have no strat to compare so I will not argue but superb microphone.
