I use these mics on an old Stratocaster Japan 1986.
The total shock for me after changing it sounds better than my Start SCN AM Deluxe Team of the system S1. I play a Fender HRD but I also tried to other tube amps.
The sound is standard, and dug at the same time, we find the SRV, Hendrix, Popa Chubby ...
Positions 2 and 4 are excellent, The definition above standards Fendards, in my opinion even the custom shop
Clearly, this is very good, crisp and powerful at the same time.
In pitcher, and saturated in it takes another dimension, powerful.
Excellent microphones of all positions. attention, the height adjustment affects a lot of microphones on the sound.
And Kinman site is a gold mine
