I use this set of highly complementary p90 Antiquity for 2 months now.
I mounted the best reissue Gibson Epiphone: the 1956 Goldtop. This guitar has a good violin and a super race.
I was looking very vintage grain: So I had the Alnico II. In Seymour, everything else was Alnico V and ceramic, so exit to me. Then p90 Gibson have a more modern kernel today, so I chose these pickups, a little random at first.
I first mounted in neck. Wow a vamp! Precise, warm, smoooooooth!
Of clean and clean singing, no bass, treble or midrange especially absent. A crunch angry, very dynamic but always precise and warm, and saturation is inflated, but clean and singing. Never seen such a good mic ... However, do not attach this microphone too close to the strings, otherwise it tends to easily clean cruncher.
Suddenly, I knew what to mount bridge: his little brother! And there Rebelote the same vamp!
For 90 € bought the microphone on a U.S. site, it's worth: OK it's expensive, but you will never have a single inch of remorse (well, it lacks a little here, a bit of that even when the microphone ... No, never!). As long as you are looking for a vintage p90 grain and warm, not too modern.
He sublimated my guitar is my favorite small, it sends the wood so it is versatile, clean, warm and very rock! This set is MAGIC!
Attention to output levels: the Antiquity are wound by hand, so they do not all have exactly the same output level.
