The original pickups plugged into my JVM were simply unable to saturate the pre-amp, I was getting the best clean crunch. Distortion evil hosted by pushing the gain.
After mounting the Hot rails: the distortion that dislodged a good sound "full" in clean, harmonics all is what the foot ^^
I turned the key (which is used?) And mounted with a split mini-switch
The single coil pickups slightly lose their power, the sound is less loaded with bass. I still get very interesting and qu'exploitables results! Well with the amp pushed a slight crunch it develops an incredible dynamic.
My other musicians and sound engineers were unanimous ^^
This Squier I also like to change the bridge to a Kluson 6 separate bridges. This is only a Squier but become very versatile thanks to Hot rails
