Published on 05/27/13 at 14:10Microphones installed this weekend on a maple fingerboard Strat American Standard 2000 instead of the original pickups.
These latter seem to me without any relief the neck pickup was not bad, the non-existent middle and bridge a little garish. So the intermediate positions did not satisfy me either.
A quick handshake with Marc and microphones has arrived barely a week. This is pro, nothing to say.
Easy installation, a few adjustments here and finally the sound I expect from my Strat.
All positions are exploitable, the microphones are balanced enter them, they respond superbly to how you attack the strings, use the volume or tones. We are surprised at all particularly care for her game right hand.
The cleans are air, without missing modern heat, there is nothing in the universe Hendrix or SRV is slamming and shiny, you can play with all. Intermediate positions have my preference.
With overdrive, it does not snore with the original pickups, the bridge pickup is quite usable with a lot of gain.
Now I find that my amp (blackstar HT1R) is no longer at the guitar so quickly to change!
Anyway I recommend the work of Mark, it is Made in France of quality and this is clearly something that has guided my choice. If the opportunity arises on another guitar, I would do this choice without hesitation.
