I just bought this little jewelry essential to our very dear acoustic. Forget everything you have tried in terms of tuning, it touches on the perfect accessory.
First I was overwhelmed by the rapid deployment of the US TT1. They are super pro at Gogo Tuner. I was looking for a tuner that is accurate, fast and easy to use, and with a fast response time.
Génialissime first point of TT1 is ergonomics: it can rotate in all directions! but really. A pivot system is located under the dial, another on the clamp, a bar between them. They grind to 360 degrees, and I've never seen a feature as practical as that. I set up the head of my takamine, screen on the back of the head, directed to me. Super mega convenient and discreet.
Response time: instantaneous. There is a micro mode and a mode of detection on the clamp. I have not tried the mic but the note on the clamp is recognized immediately is bluffing, there are tuners in the market for more expensive and much slower. The frequencies are also suitable for bass, and violin. Often changing tuning is very convenient.
The screen appears red when the note is not right, and turns green when it is. Super convenient especially live in dark, and it has to go quiet.
We can choose between color mode, guitar, bass, violin and a few half-tone lower.
It is essential for me now.
I will remake this choice without hesitation, and I advise you to try it's really a wonder.
To make it "perfect", I would offer added strength by giving it a somewhat less plastic, and I would integrate the ability to create preset open tuning.
