Wah optical size of a Boss pedal, superb, and that is very serious unpacking (solid, attractive, beautiful blue LED activation, and a name ... I find excellent), but appearances can be deceptive as we shall see. On paper, however, we can not but admit that the features are really interesting.

UTILIZATION

The configuration could not be more simple: branch, selecting one of three settings of Q on the side of the pedal and play. No need to book.
Size is not a problem in. I imagined to be destabilized, but in reality, it does not change much.

SOUND QUALITY

Perhaps I have come down a wrong number, this is after all a possibility. I was not satisfied with the level of noise generated by the pedal (single as well as plugged into my pedal-board powered by a Fuel Tank Chameleon), a terrible blow being heard from activation of the pedal. In contrast, the WH-1 is actually very transparent when not in use (true bypass), but this is not really ideal.
Besides that, the race is ridiculous. It is often the case with optical wah, certainly, but the Japanese, the effect is heard in background pedal at once, making it difficult, if not impossible, Use fine and progressive effect.

OVERALL OPINION

I returned very quickly, and it is certain that I did not renew the experience. Even if the pedal was completely silent, running is not for me, which is a shame because the overall sound of the WH-1 is not unpleasant to the ear and I must admit that this pedal is quite crisp.
