Best value: Excellent
You can find all the characteristics of this instrument on various website. One thing however is not specified, the width of the handle, it is indeed a plank! handle very thick, the first grip can be complicated for some, we made it fast, you like it or not.
The varnish finish is a little runny in some places.
No excess ornament together very simple (very good for me).

UTILIZATION

The cutaway is not consistent with the guitar style since not perpendicular to the handle, not a fan of that choice personally. it does not prevent access to acute which is very good, very enjoyable to play.
Finally the bridge is to change in the process, it is increasingly being too high, rather ugly, I'm doing one in palm (sanding through the wire to the side spotted)

SOUNDS

Volume of the gypsy said and powerful!
against her by not gypsy .... very damage, Rudy Larna conccurente entry level at the time sounded more typical that Patenotte.
My choice turned to the Patenotte for aesthetics and the "personality" created by the handle, the choice of wood, power and timbre of his still particular. Without regret, given the current state of Larna I know (see unsaleable unplayable) compared to my Patenotte qques after these years of use.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for ten years and loves bcp, both in his mouth as his grip, I do not regret this choice and only a budget twice as large I would choose another model ...
The violin has not moved one bit! very good value for money
