The G Technology portable Hard drive is a great portable hard drive. Its like having a whole computer just in a slim box that can store a ton of your projects. I use my G Drive Slim 320G a lot especially when going from 1 studio to the next. I can put my whole pro tools project right on here and take it to the next studio and open it up quick and easy. Its plug and play.
The G Technology Portable Hard Drive comes in 320g or 500g, the 500 being more expensive of course, but both of them are the same size and very portable. When I first purchased it I read where it cant sync right with mac computers, but I didn’t have a problem with it. My mac recognized it instantly. All you have to do is plug it in the usb slot and your computer no matter what kind of computer you have as long as it has a 2.0 usb, will automatically be synced up and ready to go.
If you are a music producer and you go from studio to studio like I do and like many of us do. We all know you have to have a portable hard drive. The G Drive slim was work perfect for me, I am even thinking about getting another just to use for backing up my family photos and documents and stuff like that. You cant go wrong with this high quality hard drive. Its well worth the money spent, I purchased mine online a few months ago, after I compared it with a few different ones that I saw at some local stores this one seemed to be the best buy. Plus when your purchase a new G Drive its backed by a standard 3 year factory warranty and unlimited free technical support by reps on the phone.
