Muse Research & Development and Big Fish Audio have teamed up to introduce the Vir2 Receptor 2 bundle. Featuring five virtual instrument libraries that come pre-installed and ready-to-go, the Vir2 bundle consists of the Receptor 2 Hardware Plug-in Player, plus a selection of Vir2 instruments, including Acoustic Legends, BASiS, Mojo: Horn Section, VI.ONE, and SyntAX.
The Vir2 Receptor 2 Bundle includes these components:
Receptor 2 features a 320GB hard drive, 4GB of high speed RAM and a 2.8GHz dual core AMD processor. This hardware plug-in player runs hundreds of virtual instruments and effects with the convenience and portability of dedicated hardware.
Receptor 2's low latency and polyphony enable plug-ins to perform and feel like real instruments, the company says.
Vir2 Instruments’ VI.ONE is a multi-disc sample library encompassing over two thousand instruments, kits, and other sound effects, and is designed for “maximum usability to musicians” across “a wide span of genres.”
