«  excellent harmonica, a little unusual »

Published on 08/26/11 at 16:53
My first real harmonica! I chose one at random here based primarily on vintage design that I liked and some advice found on the net.
An excellent choice for the end of practice a few months later (and a dozen different brands of harmonicas in the hands), I always struggle to find her challenger, except perhaps the Special20 I like a lot also .
The changes are easy to get out and the instrument is very responsive to the different ways to blow. When we started, an instrument 'sensitive' is a good choice because it allows better discover the possibilities of the instrument, whether the alterations (bends) or other effects.
It's hugely motivating. Thanks to the harmonica I progressed very quickly in a few weeks after he almost gave up on a harmonica to 5 euros.
The overblowss out rather well too, but require a more precise adjustment of the slats. Moreover, they are not always consistent quality, there is sometimes a note or two that whines a little, which fortunately can be corrected in 5 minutes.
On this harmonica is rather easy to maintain, two flat screws and opening the hood!

The sound is bright enough, rather unusual compared to other harmonicas, including those of Hohner. The grip is perfect.

Ideal as a first harp and harmonica great, period!
