Behringer, there are many bad, but when there is good ... it's very good!

Let me explain my use of this device that I use for about six months, with in-ear headphones and extension jack 5 meters ... (Except for me: UHF: p)

I first enter every instrument in the rack Behringer DI-DI Pro 800.

On the bottom of each channel of the DI-Pro 800, an XLR cable from the console to join the mix.
In front of each channel of the DI-Pro 800, an output "unbalanced out" jack fate, exactly the same signal that what comes with XLR I thus connects each channel of the DI-800 to Pro each channel of HA4700.

Ass of HA4700, I have 2 jack inputs / XLR which I connected the output "Control Room" from my mixer so that each headphone mix receives general.

The 2 XLR / jack located next door, return exactly the same signal that what goes into these entries (even off camera), thereby bringing in a second string HA4700 if you have more than 4 zicos, or so simply plugging the speakers back in addition.

<strong>Each</strong> of the 4 channels of HA4700 therefore receives <strong>generally</strong> the mix, <strong>and for each</strong> instrument connected to it (via the DI-800 Pro for my part, which allows me to further equipment connected to each channel).

Result: not only is each musician <strong>hears mostly his own instrument, and the main mix</strong> (ie all other instruments) referred to by the mixer, but in addition, each musician may, for his headphone:

- Determine a preference between [+ instrument] / [+ Mix]
- Determine the bass made in his headphone
- Test for Acute
- Determine the volume of his headphone
- Have an overview of its volume, each channel being provided with an LED VU meter.

And it's not over! Far left of the facade, an instrument input "general" will be returned to all headphones. Me, I plug in a metronome for musicians that are all square <img class="smiley" src="/images/audiofanzine/interface/smileys/icon_lol.gif" alt="" /> And it does not pass in front ^ ^

The use of the DI-800 in addition to Pro as I do is not essential, but without it, your instruments are not connected <strong>to the headphone amplifier,</strong> and thus does not pass in front (well, each output headphone is split, one forward one aft, you can use it to swing back the sound, but suddenly if you increase the volume on your headphones, then inevitably you increase the volume of your instrument).

Then level sound quality is not great, but that's not what we want: the listening volume is rendered still more than enough to get along despite a battery, an electric guitar and a whole mix , and using it with in-ear earphones and a UHF system, its just the foot in comfort for every musician get along perfectly, and still hear the music perfectly as well.

So, even pregnant need to rehearse, or even pregnant back on stage, which considerably reduces the risk of feedback, and lets you mount the volume of the microphones!

It's a purchase I do not regret: to repeat or do a concert, the difference in comfort with / without, literally day and night.
