I've been using it for two days.

I wanted a bass Vox Amplug but it seems it's still not available yet.

I bought a bass at the same time so I got a discount!

It's sold without a battery but with headphones instead.

To be honest, the manufacturing quality is very bad. The blue plastic housing looks awful and it is not properly assembled. I had to deform a corner of the battery to get it inside the battery compartment...

The device has a volume control and a filter button which seems to be a low-pass filter. I guess it's useful for noisy bass guitars. I set it to the minimum.

The unit also has a 1/8" jack input for an MP3 player for example but the corresponding cable is not provided.

What about usability?

Something very good is that the jack is part of the housing. So it's not an amp you have to carry on your belt, it stays connected directly to the bass.

The swiveling connector can be plugged to any bass.

What about the sound?

Not bad at all. The amp doesn't add noise to the bass signal. Attacks are clearly reproduced. Perfect.

The headphones provided are really cheap. You'd better buy better headphones.

I give it an average mark because of its poor manufacturing quality and the lousy headphone performance.

But once again: the amp sounds very good.
