Published on 02/24/11 at 16:05I use it only for a few months and this is the best pickup I've heard! It is equipped with an Ortofon quality that gives a very pure and warm, without exaggerated color. The accuracy of the engine is incredible (directdrive controller with quartz), with less than 0.01% of variation and the dynamics are good, without arriving at a Thorens. But the whole is very balanced and harmonious.
With a properly adjusted head, his arm tangential achieves a saturation level close to perfection. I enjoyed making a comparison between my NAD CD player and the Pick-Up ... many people have fallen into the trap! There are only a few possible lines of an LP that can be distinguished. But with a new and well-pressed LP, this record player has as good a sound resolution as a CD player and the sound is 10 times better!
This turntable is perfect for all styles of music and especially jazz. His weak point is the change and adjust the reading head, which is harder to do than on a turntable "traditional", but the scope of a music lover too nervous.
