I have a 05 amp Rotel RA for 6 months, and I am satisfied.
Prcis sound, balanced and well-punch level reserve of power.
The whole spectrum is transcribed with warmth, the bass is round, medium bright and crystalline treble!
Associated with a correct source (Rotel RCD 02 in) and speaker quality (B & W, Triangle, JM Lab ...) the feeling the costs are amazing!
The ratio quality price is excellent, Rotel's philosophy!

That said, I suggest, to have been the exprience to choose this amp for the speakers to type library or small columns (I can hear me, cd not too greedy in power) in a pi the average surface 40m.
I actually found that the RA 05 silent lightweight power over the Triangle Lyrr, why I change DCID amp and have a more powerful amp Rotel (RA 06 or RA 1062 or associated RB + RC 06 I do not know yet)
I turn 06 RA a cost, compared to 30W of power diffrence between 05 and 06 are present for a price of cart 150.

Trs trs trs a recommendation significant attention to connections, the Rotel does not like short-circuit. Make sure the speaker connections with the amp tone and that the terminals of the amp or speakers are not in touch .........

Used for a year to replace my system preamp-amp Advance Acoustic (MPP205 MAA 405). This little Rotel has easily drive my columns Triangle Luna 260, for a value for money that I consider really good. Compraisons with the Advance is obviously disproportionate (1000 euros for the couple anyway Advance against less than 400 for the Rotel), but the quality of the stereo image and accuracy in the bass and treble registers I really enjoyed . I highly recommend it for nice speakers, which you can spend more budget. Rotel This allows you to start directly with the columns that will cost three to five times its price, and will be treated well.
