« Not easy but very pleasant driver! »
Published on 11/04/11 at 09:49How long have you use it?
About 1 year
Have you tried many other models before buying it?
Many, and I have many more!
What is so special that you love the most, least?
I appreciate their gentleness measured, they are not suppressed, however. But be careful, I give notice again after filtering, which is more than necessary on these speakers, like virtually all other Kef and Celestion other. Capacitors derive much over time and tend to turn off the sound qualities of these beautiful.
The tweeter T27 (known fragile?) Is very nice and never aggressive, very fine. The B200 associated with the B139 offers beautiful tones and the bass down low. However, it should focus on an amp that will keep them, because of their relatively low performance, but also to have a serious quality. Otherwise, it tends to become prominent and rather unpleasant. My best experience at this time was spent with a block of Hafler DH220 2x100W, but I currently use a Denon PMA701 2x70W of who holds them as well.
They offer a beautiful scene fairly large and are not overly prescriptive. Do not place them in Double Beds to avoid a rise in the grave. They need a little air around to speak properly.
How would you rate the quality / price?
This time very good, but my decision is not significant because the boards I paid well below market prices. Otherwise, even with the investment of fifty euros to rebuild filters and a purchase price "market", they offer many things that many recent speakers much more expensive would envy.
With experience, you do again this choice?
Yes.
