UTILIZATION

The handle is sturdy, thick is glued (not covered), the game is easy and can be accessed without the acute problem.
To my taste, the beast is not very practical to play seated. And standing, the body weight is difficult to bear if we do not stand right.

SOUNDS

This guitar has withstood the shock instead of years despite the fact that it has not always been well maintained. The pots do not crack and the timber has not moved a hair.
on the other hand I feel the mircos have lost their clarity: Hard to get a clicking sound and microphone pocket handle almost sounds too round for what I want to do (blues, classic rock ...).
on the other hand, if you look very fat sound, it works well.
Again I do not know if the sound has not changed by force of thing (no maintenance, humidity, wide temperature for years).


OVERALL OPINION

I picked this guitar in the 90s. I have no information on its history since its former owner is gone forever.
In searching the net, I find very little information on the Marathon brand, if it is German and that it is born and died in the 80s.
I put on a good note because I think this grate at the mouth. I did not know to asses said but I think this brand was in the midrange (the one I seem to confirm this), and after probably 20 of ill treatment, she still holds the road.
