«  A killing at the highest point »

Big fan of DiMarzio, I always remained skeptical about the micro and large output level (preferring the original mics like the tone zone) and the evolution of my style so, I decided to indulge .

And here is the slap, I had never heard a sound like this mic. It is both powerful and accurate, while respecting fully the grain of the guitar and the amp which is played by pushing them, of course, a higher output level.

My guitar is a Vigier Excalibur Original, then made alder, and the sound is far from being very sharp, but is rather balanced and super people, whatever the type of sound used. I had already tried the d-sonic because they looked cousin but the d-activator is well above and especially (strangely for that matter) less acute than the d-sonic. The sound seems much reflect the violin as the EMG.

The clean sound is not really exceptional but I use it to split and a parallel micro environment for this and again the result is very good.
For heavy distortion, it is his domain. The microphone is capable of awakening any crunch to make it sound much bigger and gives a dynamic to the monstrous palm mute, in really hear the difference in the way of attacking the strings. So, not many are available to EQ the amp and still musical.

Finally, I would say that I connected to a neck evolution and the two go together really well because the d-activator neck does not really want me to what I heard (too many levels and too much treble)

Conclusion: amateur big sounds you know what you have to do
