Used to replace a emg 89, I find it much better Defines, with fewer and lower mdium mdium. Sound less mushy than the Emg 89 in the neck position ... mix with ultra distortion in the bridge position, I sound gnial. The clean sound is crystal-clear without being cold. I would do 8000 times the choice. Even if the microphones cost twice as much.
