« Excellent Micro »
Published on 06/06/11 at 13:11Mounted on a micro-LP, all through a CA100 and a 4x12 with V30, this microphone has a ceramic magnet like the whole series Grind, his EQ is pretty balanced but with a bump on the upper midrange and treble, very micro edged with a very good offense, aggressive enough, perfect for rhythmic shred, a rather narrow grain (to be tested also in the neck position for solos, it might be pretty ... well I think I'm not a soloist but the idea is past, so I mention it), an output level loud enough.
I liked this mic, it balances out the hot side of an LP, see an all mahogany guitar, cons by a skyscraper with wood that have made sound rather acute, it could not do
