less synthetic sound a really emg 81 and the lead prescision diabolical and dynamics. this mic sounds a bit like a liability (character) with the benefit of the estate.

edit: I put this mic ave gain a 3, 4 on my engl powerball and a bb preamp to boost (gain in volume and a 0 3 / 4): I can play metallica easy. the output level is AWESOME (jumper left on the mic).
