ENG152 « Excellent Combo ... Reliable little »
Published on 11/09/12 at 14:09Combo amp with two channels and two master volume 60 watt all-tube (4x 12AX7, 2x EL34) equipped with two DSP Reverb for one, one for 16 preset effects effects (Chorus, Delay, Tremolo). a footswitch (included) 4-way control to the channel, boost, master A or B trigger and effect processor. Complete equalization for both channels (Gain, aspen, bass, midrange).
Outputs for speakers, emulated output of poor quality, switch to activate the fan ...
Good finish, 25 Kg amp rather well thought (basically it all ...): good impression, many look (red and black, a nice VU meter that lights ...).
UTILIZATION
The sound is very "Bassy"! we spend a lot of time searching, do not be afraid of extreme settings like bass Zero ... the first contact is very disorienting.
SOUNDS
Once set, the sound is frankly excellent: Very dark, but very manly: rich in medium and low. Mutes sound like a great big stack. The sounds are very clear as saturated music, it sounds really good. The gain is not really high (the level of a JCM 800), but there are a lot of "grain" is very rock n roll. You can attack a big fat blues, Stoner Heavy or old school without any worries. His manly side allows him to go to rub more extreme styles, but it will be limited by its lack of gain. Particularity, it sounds great at low volumes, which is rare for a 60-watt lamps.

Really sad that combo trimballe a reputation well deserved amp problem ...
