The eq is unnecessary for home studio flat set it is already changing the sound.
The compressor is nice.
The power supply is not great.
Build quality far short of what one might expect.

UTILIZATION

Simple.

SOUND QUALITY

Far superior to table behringer preamp.
For voice it is effective.

OVERALL OPINION

For dynamic microphones, actually there may be the breath (even many) if the source is of low intensity.
For static it is effective (on vocals) with the EQ to off. There is absolutely out of breath. You just have to give gain entry to a slap on the 0 or 3 on the LED, and lower the output stage to allow some leeway, and especially not to get too much into the sound card : the harmonics are there, the result is quite workable and honorable despite the many faults of the machine.
(More than a year of use)
Ps: keyboard plugged into the line inputs ... the sound is huge! Nécesairement clean but not big, fat, fleshy.

Updated:
This product is not reliable, even slightly used, still mounted rack is in the process of giving up the ghost. I lower my bill.
