I hesitated to buy these headphones Earsonics SM3, having already SM2 and the price is quite high if we add more Earmolds also molded to these ears. Except the difference with the SM2 is immediately apparent: definition, clarity in the midrange and greater firmness and definition for serious ... (Listening to good recordings of organ). The SM2 is a very good headset but still crossed a barrier with the SM3, I do not think you could still get better mobile music ... I would say that the wealth of timbres, the clarity, stereo larger and firmer bass are much more present than on my hifi salon! (Audio 640 V2 amp Cabridge + Cabasses Majorca MC40 and player Pioneer PD D6 MK2 ... (I'm very satidfait anyway!)

Please note, these headphones are associated with a very good player like Coxon J3 example. (The Cowon D2 + is a bit below)
The price seems high for my means but I do not regret this purchase at all! - See Earsonics site.
The headphones seem fragile and bulky to use but they show resistant and easy to implement. The SM3 is a little more energy than the plaintiff in SM2 (16 ohm (SM2) - 34 ohms for the SM3)
In short very satisfied, the slap ...
On records, making sound not very good quality, defects emerge immediately!
I share the opinion below of not having known this small French company that is Earsonics sooner!
