The quality / price of the card, I begin in the computer music but bump in the performing arts (lighting) have already sound ...

I use a Pentium 4 2.8GHz and 512MB RAM (a bit light ...), with a small Soundcraft or Yamaha, it depends on my tech ed ... lol

UTILIZATION

Install no problem, simple quick doc for cons not cool at all for the internal mix but in the end it's all a console that is standard ... I would have been 9 or 10 but the doc 4 . As for the emulator is relatively intuitive, and I started running when ca same carefree just starting reading the guide (in English only ... grrr).

GETTING STARTED

Stable drivers with my config and Cubase SX, for cons will have to add more ram for the emulator, if not a little train ca
4ms latency in general, we will have that I look at the delay compensation (the I say no thank you to EMU for the doc!) because sometimes when I put him in too geule it tends to crack chouilla one, it comes may be the lack of RAM, the emulator is quite delicious ... with no problems against the DSP, the effects are of the quality pramps nothing to say no breath ...
I record my guitars with a C414 with a capsule K5: I'm on your ass just by using the EQ and reverb: It sounds big, one for voice C535: even finding the sound is clear precise sharp ( .. like seagulls ....)

OVERALL OPINION

Acquired a month ago, I discovered the joys of mao, and I do not regret my purchase, definition sound is terrible (I rediscovered my disc), the effects are good, we need a little time for taking hand of the house mix ..... but after Yahoo ...
Of course I can not be truly objective, it's my first card, but for the price, the sound, the bank's huge (ah tabla!), EMU won me over ...
