Sims Audio (Infrasonic) announced the release of V-Balanced Input/Output (I/O) for the Infrasonic Quartet PCI Audio Interface.
Available via driver update, V-Balanced I/O is designed to allow Quartet to be used as a balanced 2-in/2-out interface, and is available in Quartet driver version 1.18.4. With earlier drivers the Quartet functioned only as an unbalanced 4-in/4-out interface.
V-Balanced I/O technology was developed by the Infrasonic development team to provide Balanced Signal capability to the Infrasonic Quartet. The user can now select the I/O-type by simply clicking the “Balanced Link” button of the driver control panel. V-Balanced I/O is designed to use Reversed Phase Theory to avoid HUM or RF noise that comes from signal transfer through cables.
